Managing Director Gordan McCormack has been the Managing Director of Protection Plus Security NQ since 2013. A long-standing Townsville local, Gordan has more than 25 years experience within the security industry. He is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and takes a hands-on approach to all aspects of managing the unique and individual security needs of his clients. Gordan’s focus is on providing each client with an individually tailored comprehensive security plan, designed to protect people, assets and business.
Townsville Branch Manager Damien has worked for several years as a security officer and has worked his way through from a Junior Security Officer to now looking after our Townsville Branch. He has a firm customer focus and is dedicated to ensuring all team members meet our quality assurance standards. Damien is responsible for all operations, staff development, briefing and quality control of the entire Townsville Security Team and ensures that the individual needs of our clients are met-first time, every time.
In House Training Mark has a very extensive background that started as a Warrant Officer Class II in the NZ Army with extensive experience as a drill and weapons instructor. From here he moved into the Police Force and with over 32 years experience including regional service within Queensland rising to the rank of Sergeant. Throughout his time with QPS Mark also took on a role as a trainer within the force covering, Firearms, Self Defence and Active Shooter training
Cairns Branch Manager Glen Manages the day to day operations for the Cairns Branch, Glen is focused on service delivery and since his appointment he has shown strong growth and customer retention. Glen has many years in the Security & Correction Industry and has held long standing management roles within each industry he has worked.
Business Development Manager Tony oversees all of our customer and pricing enquiries, marketing, customer relations and branding. Tony brings to the company a proven track record in managing all forms of business, developing policy, procedures and compliance in not only individuals branches but successfully managing multiples sites throughout North and Central Queensland. Tony also has a very impressive Sales Background to assist in the future growth and development of the company as well as maintaining our high customer service and satisfaction levels. On top of this Tony is also a fully licenced Security Officer
Administration Manager Tammy has had extensive experience in customer service and even managed her own family transport business. During this time she gained hands on experience within operations, staff management, account management, audits, logistics plus time and fatigue management. Tammy also worked in the event industry and has an in depth understanding of risk management and security needs for large and small scale events as well as working with sponsors and stakeholders. All of these skills have given her a firm grounding with the knowledge, experience and a skillset to manage our administration team, meet the required timelines and provide excellent customer service.
Business Development Manager – Installations & Electronic Division Craig prides himself on his customer service and looks after all your requirements within this division. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table with over 20 years experience within the Electronic Security Industry. Craig’s knowledge and infield experience coupled with his hands on approach allows them to always be up to date with the advancements of technologies, means he can tailor a package to meet your needs at a very competitive price.
